Pluto — Nine Years in the Making for this Photo
Pluto was still a planet when New Horizons space craft launched from Cape Canaveral on January 19, 2006 … and now we have the first photos of the dwarf planet from super close up. Funny, it looks like a regular-sized planet to us.
