Domestic Assault at 2 Bushnell Street In Bradford; Officer Injured

policelights_optCity Police responded to 2 Bushnell this morning for a reported domestic assault. The suspect had left prior to Police arrival and Police were interviewing the victim. During the interview, the male showed back up and became aggressive towards Officers. Officers attempted to place the male in custody and a struggle ensued. An Officer sustained an injury but was still able to get the male in custody.

Police charged Mark Andress with aggravated assault on an Officer, 2 counts of simple assault, resisting arrest, and harassment. Andress was arraigned in front of Magistrate Cercone and is in McKean County Jail in lieu of $100,000 straight bail.

Our Officer will need surgery for torn ligament and a broken and we wish him a speedy recovery. Please keep him in your thoughts.
