Amelia A. Poklar
Amelia A. “Millie” Poklar, 84, of 641 Troupe Rd., Harborcreek, and formerly of Crosby and Pittsburgh, passed away Monday (June 1, 2015) at UPMC Hamot.
Born April 14, 1931, in Norwich Township, McKean Co., she was a daughter of the late Henry F. and Mary Elizabeth Strauss Poklar Sr.
Ms. Poklar was employed as a purchasing agent for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel . She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Smethport.
Surviving are a brother Fredrick (Sandy) Poklar of The Villages, FL; several nieces and nephews, including Tom Poklar of Erie; and three aunts, Dorothy Moline in FL, Martha Laughner and Edith Fedus, both of Ridgway.
She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by three brothers, Robert Poklar, Richard Poklar and Henry Poklar; and a sister, Rose Poklar.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
