Arlene R. Park
Arlene Ruth Park, 98, formerly of Mt. Jewett, passed away Monday (January 26, 2015) at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born November 4, 1916, in Sargeant, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Ruth Hanson Swanson. On November 16, 1940, in Warren, she married Woodrow Park who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Park graduated from Bradford High School in 1933 and from the Hamsher House in Bradford as a registered nurse. She worked at Bradford Hospital and then did private-duty nursing after that. She also worked for a few years in New Jersey and Texas while living in those states.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda K. Campogiani of Rochester, NY; a son W. Robert (Merle) Park of Wall, NJ; two grandsons, Jeffrey W.(Sarah) Park and Gregory R. Park; a granddaughter, Stephani L. Campogiani (Angelo) Gollel; eight- great grandchildren, Miranda L. Gollel, Ava Lyn Gollel, Ella R. Kudzma Park, Naomi Park, Isabel Bearce Park, Quinn J. Kudzma Park, Jamie Victor Park, Milo Bearce Park; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ralph P. Campogiani, III and her sister, Leona DeRosia.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. in Mt. Jewett. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Arlene R. Park to the Bradford Ecumenical Home, 200 St. Francis Dr., Bradford, PA 16701.
