Julie A. Hunt, 68, of 224 Hacker Street, passed away Thursday (January 8, 2015) at the Lutheran Home at Kane after an extended illness.
Born October 26, 1946, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Violet Ohlson Hunt.
Julie was a member of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church. She had previously been employed as a baker at the former Market Basket in Kane.
Surviving are a sister, Phyllis Prosperi of Kane; four brothers, Dennis Hunt of Seffner, FL, Edgar Hunt, Donnie Hunt and Harold Hunt,all of Tampa, FL ; a niece, Kathleen (Matthew) Prosperi-McClard of Kane; and several other nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was a brother, Kenneth Hunt.
Friends will be received Saturday (January 17, 2015) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.at Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church where funeral services, with the Rev. William Waterman, pastor, officiating will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
The Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
