Pitt-Bradford to host photo exhibition from January 16-30

BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford’s Office of International Services and Study Abroad will host its third annual photography exhibition “Passion.”

The exhibition will be held from Jan. 16-30 in the KOA Art Gallery in Blaisdell Hall and is open to students, faculty, staff and community members.

An opening reception will be held Jan. 16 from noon until 3p.m. in the KOA Art Gallery in Blaisdell Hall.

Submissions for the exhibition will be accepted from Jan. 5 through 13. Participants are asked to drop off submissions between 12:30 and 4:30p.m. at the box office in Blaisdell Hall. Photographers may submit up to three pieces sized 5 inches by 7 inches or larger. All submissions must be matted, and/or framed.

Amateur photographers may submit photos for the following categories: Passion, Open, Funniest Shot, Black and White, Let’s Eat, Nature’s Gifts, Scary Travel Photos, I Can’t Believe I Caught That Shot, Best Student Shot and Best Amateur Shot.

Professional photographers will be considered for Best Professional Shot and People’s Choice Categories. Visitors at the opening of the exhibition will vote for the People’s Choice Award photos. All student submissions will be considered for the Best Student Shot.
