Mildred L. “Millie” MacPherson

Mildred L. “Millie” MacPherson, 89, of 2510 Silver Wolf Trail, Fort Wayne, IN, formerly of 195 West Washington St., Bradford, passed away, November 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at the Parkview Hospital. Born December 11, 1924 in Wetmore, she was the daughter of the late John William and Mabel (Lindquist) Johnson.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was employed as a Bookkeeper at Tuna Manufacturing Company for many years. Surviving is one daughter, Kathy MacPherson, of Fort Wayne, IN, one granddaughter, Heather Williams of Las Vegas, NV, four great grandchildren Drew, Sierra, Maitland, and Blaize, one sister, Evelyn Ackman, of Emporium, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother’s Alvin, Reinold, Robert, and LeRoy Johnson, and sister’s Virginia McOmber and Dorothy Middlebrough.

Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 372 East Main where funeral and committal services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Matt Blake pastor of the Bradford Area Parish officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
