Ruth H. Cooper, 101, of 4689 Union Road, Buffalo, NY, passed away Wednesday (March 5, 2014) at her residence.
Born July 6, 1912, in Kane, she was a daughter of Gust and Anna Karlson Holt.
Mrs. Cooper was a beautician and proprietor of her own beauty salon.
Surviving are three daughters, Janice Cooper, Phyllis (Steven) Tuhovak and Elizabeth Cooper, all of Buffalo; a son Lewis Cooper of Buffalo; three grandchildren Steven (Lynne) Tuhovak, James Tuhovak and Cathy Tuhovak, all of Buffalo; and three great granddaughters, Alexandra Tuhovak, Victoria Tuhovak and Natassia Tuhovak. Several local relatives also survive.
Preceding her in death, besides her parents, were ten brothers and sisters.
Friends and family may attend funeral services at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. William R. LaVelle, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
