Kepler, Beverly A.
Beverly A. Kepler, 80, formerly of Route 321, Kane, died Saturday morning, December 14, 2013 at The Lutheran Home at Kane.
Born November 16, 1933 in Kane, she was the daughter of Robert and Madeline Henry Frost. On August 1, 1954 in Kane, she married Earl L. Kepler, who died in 1996.
Beverly had worked in a children’s orphanage in Pittsburgh, then at Marienville Glass Container, and later at Stackpole in Kane.
She was a member of Mountain Grange #1307, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and, for 21 years, the American Legion Post #945, all in Kane.
Surviving are six grandchildren, Nicole Bressler of Kane, Stephen Kepler, Joanie Ruiz and Jamie Kepler, all of Louisiana, and Nathan Kepler and Ryan Kepler, both of Washington, Pa.; nine great grandchildren, Tyler, Tori and Terika Schleicher, Brooklynn Bressler, Shanie, Sydney and Kolt Kepler, and Neeley and Jayce Ruiz, plus her sister, Margaret (Clyde) Poss of Lake Placid, Fla.
She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by two sons, Earl Kepler, Jr. and Stephen Kepler; a daughter, Christine Dunlap; a sister, Catherine Frost and a brother, Joseph Frost.
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held from 2 to 4 on Thursday in the Gathering Place in The Presbyterian Church in Kane, followed by a private service for her family with the rev. Rebecca Taylor, pastor, officiating.
