Virginia B. Wallace O’Hara

Virginia B. Wallace O’Hara, 85, of Bradford, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Cheektowaga, NY. She was born on March 30, 1928 in Bradford, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Catherine Page Moore, She attended Bradford area schools. She was employed by the former Rite Light Co., Warren.

She was the widow of both Samuel S. Wallace and Addison I. O’Hara. She is survived by two daughters, Sarah E. DiBlasi, Brooksville, FL, Rose Ann Wallace, Groveland, FL, two sons, Neil E. Wallace, Bradford, Howard L. (Mona) Wallace, North Collins, NY, three sisters, Doris Deisfield, Sanford, NC, Sara Spring, Ft. Pierce, FL, Margaret Stady, Allegany, NY, step grandson, Rick (Judy) O’Hara, Ransomville, NY, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was also preceded in death by two sons, three brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with a memorial service immediately following with the Rev. Matthew Blake, pastor of the Bradford Area parish officiating.

Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions in her memory be made to The Hospice Foundation of WNY, P.O. Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240-0590 or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
