Hollabaugh, George W.
George W. Hollabaugh, 70, of 612 North Fraley Street, Kane, died Saturday evening, November 23, 2013 at his residence.
Born January 24, 1943 in Guys Mills, he was the son of Glenn M. and Ethel E. Baker Hollabaugh. On September 7, 1967 in Frewsburg, N.Y., he married Diana Lynn Walters, who survives.
George had been a logger and later worked in maintenance at Cera Mag and Stackpole Corp. in Kane.
He was a member of the First Church of God and the VFW Post #1132, both in Kane, and was both a craftsman and an avid gardener.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Steven Hollabaugh of Kane and Randy Hollabaugh of Cyclone.
Preceding him in death, besides his parents, are brothers Glenn, Jr., Albert and Carl Hollabaugh and Burton West.
Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc., at which time a service will be held there with the rev. Chad Troup, pastor of the First Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery following cremation.
