Pitt-Bradford has new transfer agreement with Penn Highlands Community College

BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford has a new transfer agreement with Pennsylvania Highlands Community College to make it easier for those students to complete their bachelor’s degree at Pitt-Bradford.

Under the agreement, Pitt-Bradford will accept 60 credits from Penn Highlands, which has five campuses in south central Pennsylvania.

It is easy for Penn Highlands students to look up the transferability of their credits via an online database, which they can use in order to maximize the move to one of Pitt-Bradford’s 37 bachelor degree programs.

“Programs at Penn Highlands and Pitt-Bradford mesh well together, and this new agreement provides students a way to plan for their bachelor’s degree at our campus much more easily,” said Bob Dilks, director of transfer recruitment at Pitt-Bradford.  “This agreement coupled with our transfer scholarships will make Pitt-Bradford a great choice for many Penn Highlands students.”

More than 94 percent of Pitt-Bradford students receive financial aid, and unique transfer scholarships are available for qualified students.

For more information about Pitt-Bradford, the transfer process and the details of the agreement, call the Office of Admissions at 800-872-1787 or go to www.upb.pitt.edu/transfer.aspx
