ERA: Bradford City budget process taking shape

Bradford City officials are optimistic about the municipality’s finances as they work through the preliminary stages of creating a budget for the coming year.

City Mayor Tom Riel told The Era Friday afternoon that the budget process is taking shape and “things seem to be in order.”

Riel said the city has not raised taxes in two years and he does not foresee having to do so this year. “We hope not to raise taxes and we pray we can maybe even lower them,” he stated.
