Anderson, Linda L.

Linda L. Anderson, 71, formerly of 421 North Tionesta Avenue, Kane, died Tuesday morning, August 20, 2013 at The Lutheran Home at Kane, where she resided.
Born August 14, 1941 in Kane, she was the daughter of Lyle L. and Nelle M. Kemp Fay. On August 5, 1961 in Kane, she married Edward C. Anderson, who died April 9, 2013.
An E.M.T., she operated the Kane Ambulance for several years, then spent five years in Saudi Arabia as an E.M.T. She was a thoughtful, caring, loving mother to her children, and enjoyed being with her family, reading and watching TV.
Linda was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane.
Surviving are two sons, Todd C. Anderson of Kane and Brett E. Anderson of Rochester, N.Y.; a daughter, Michelle F. Anthony of Kane; plus five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, besides her husband and parents, are two brothers, Richard Fay and Gary Fay, and a sister in infancy, Meredith Fay.
Friends may call at The Gathering Space in St. Callistus Catholic Church on Thursday from 10:00 until 10:50, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 with the Very Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, as Celebrant. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Kane.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Callistus Catholic Church, 342 Chase Street, Kane, PA 16735.
