William J. Sapko 59, formerly of 13 East Main Street, passed away Friday, March 12th, 2010 at Bradford Manor.

Born November 10, 1950, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Michael and Angeline M. (Pepe) Sapko. Mr. Sapko attended Bradford Area Schools.

He was employed as a maintenanceman for Tullah Hanley properties for many years.

He was a member of St. Bernard Church, and enjoyed designing and producing miniature rockets, and hunting for Indian Arrowheads.

Surviving is one brother, Michael J. (Nancy) Sapko of Finleyville, PA, one nephew Dr. Michael T. Sapko, two nieces: Heather (Mark) Juzwa, and Sana (John) Soles, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, William J. Sapko VanSickle who died April 29, 2009 and one brother, John A. Sapko who died August 28, 2009.

Friends will be received on Tuesday March 23, 2010 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm in the    Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday March 24, 2010 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Leo Gallina, pastor as Celebrant. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113 Bradford, PA 16701 or a charity of the donors choice.
