Port Allegany - Theodore P. Stake, Jr., 69, of, Port Allegany, died Saturday (December 29, 2012) at his home in Port Allegany.

He was born Apr 11, 1943 in Levittown, a son of Theodore P. and Doris Kerr Stake, Sr. On November 1, 1969 in Roulette, PA, he married Sandra L. Church, who died October 21, 2011.

Mr. Stake was a graduate of Bristol High School.

Mr. Stake owned and operated Ted Stake General Store in Port Allegany for many years and was later employed in the Dietary Dept. at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport retiring in 2002 after 28 years of service.

Mr. Stake enjoyed playing the lottery, cards, wood working and traveling. He also loved to give tractor rides on his new tractor but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by Two daughters: Heather (Bryan) Bartels of Thomasville, NC, Serena (Kurt) Boylstein of Harrisburg, PA Three sons: Theodore (Holly) Stake III, in Germany, Nathan (Tara) Stake, in Fort Lee, VA, and Jason (Kari) Stake of Port Allegany, PA 8 grandchildren: Taylor, Hailey, Ayla, Cadence, Mikya, Rory, Kason, and Jared Several nieces and nephews

Mr. Stake was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother Frank

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan 5, 2012 from 11AM to 12PM at St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, 116 Arnold Ave, Port Allegany, PA where funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Joann Piatko pastor of St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, officiating
