Dorothy J. Tornatela, 88, of 116 Barbour Street, passed away Tuesday, August 31st, 2010 at  Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born February 22, 1922, in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Peter N. and Myrtle (Bellamy) Ross.

On November 13, 1950  she married Patsy Tornatela who died on September 25, 1982.

Mrs. Tornatela attended Bradford Schools. She had been employed at Zippo Mfg in the repair department for 20 years. She was a member of St. Bernard Church and a former member of the Bradford Moose Lodge.

Surviving are four children; three sons, Joseph MIchael (Sharyn) Zias of Shinglehouse, Ricky Lee (Norma) Tornatela of Apopka, FL, and Peter D. (Maggie) Tornatela of Bradford, a daughter, Jill  Tornatela of Bradford, ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one nephew Greg Ross and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Peter Ross.

Private funeral services will be held at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., with Rev. Leo J. Gallina, Pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating.  Burial will be lin St. Bernard Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Bernard Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
