Port Allegany - Mary E. DeCarlo, 69, of Port Allegany, died Thursday (June 28, 2012), at her residence in Port Allegany, surrounded by her family.

She was born April 6, 1943 in Port Allegany, a daughter of William Crusan and Judith A. Chilson-Petteys.

Mary was a 1961 graduate of Port Allegany High School. She had worked for the McKean County Housing Authority for 25 years, retiring on March 31, 2006.

She enjoyed antiques and owned and operated "My Mother's Cupboard" in Port Allegany for several years.

She is survived by: Long-time companion: Glenn T. "Ted" Williams of Port Allegany three sons: Mark (Tammy) Higgins of Coudersport, PA; Michael (Tamika) DeCarlo and David (Georgeanna) DeCarlo, both of Port Allegany, PA 16 grandchildren two sisters: Debra Moore and Beth Howard, both of Port Allegany two brothers: Raymond Petteys and Matt Petteys, both of Port Allegany Stepchildren: Eric Barber, Nathan Williams, Monica Lee, and Melanie Williams, all of Smethport. And several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith A. Petteys and step father, Raymond Petteys.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA, where funeral and committal services will be held on Monday, July 2, at 11 A.M., with the Rev. Randall Headley, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Port Allegany, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, Po Box 67, Bradford, PA 16701. Online condolences can be left at www.hartle-tarboxfuneralhomes.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, Port Allegany.
