Patricia A. Harp, 71, of 15 Kushequa Avenue in Mt. Jewett, formerly of Marienville, died Wednesday morning, September 5, 2012 at the Kane Community Hospital after a recent illness.

Born March 17, 1941 in Allison Park, she was the daughter of George L. and Anna L. Lane Schreiber. On February 13, 1960 in Lucinda, she married Forest W. Harp, who died in 2007.

Catholic by faith, she served in the U.S. Navy in Hawaii, then had worked as a packer for Owens Illinois in Brockport.

Surviving are a daughter, Sueann Oakes of Wilcox; five sons, Roger Harp of Keithville, La., Steve Harp and Rusty Harp, both of Kane, William Harp of Johnsonburg and Homer Harp of Kane; a sister, Sharlene Vito of Kane; a brother, Larry Schreiber of Summerville, S.C.; plus eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by three brothers and three children at childbirth.

Friends may attend a memorial service at 1:00 on Saturday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane with the Very Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor of St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane, officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 95 Main Street, Bradford, PA 16701.
