Thelma J. Clark, 82, of 287 Spring Street, Kane, died Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Kane Community Hospital.

Born September 25, 1929 in Highland, she was the daughter of Roy E. and Edna J. Wickert Neely. On August 15, 1955 in Baltimore, Md., she married James L. Clark, who died in 2000.

Mrs. Clark worked at Stackpole Corp. in Kane for many years, and later at The Lutheran Home at Kane for several years.

She was a member of the First Church of God and a Life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, both in Kane.

Surviving are two sons, Edward J. (Vicky) Bliss of Kane and Daniel R. (Jody) Bliss of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Linda J. (Dennis) Swanson of James City and Sandra L. (Melvin) Brinkley of Kane; a stepdaughter, Jackie (Robert) Pribble of Perham, Maine; a sister, Elizabeth Seaman of Ridgway; fourteen grandchildren, Lee, Quentin, Bradley, Bill, Jim, Laura, Judy, Kim, Jeremy, Parker, Amy, Aaron, Coleen and Shannon, plus 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband and parents, by a son, David C. Bliss, Jr. in May of this year; her twin sister Twila Stevenson, and sisters Margaret in infancy, Helen Wayant, Rose Miller, Ruby Wolfe, Patricia Rapp and Clara Drake; and brothers Eugene Neely and Milton Neely.

Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00, at which time a service will be held there with the rev. Chad Troup, pastor of the First Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God, P.O. Box 547, Kane, PA 16735.
