Marilyn O. Brinkley, 69, of 113 Haines Street, Kane, died Thursday evening, January 24, 2013 at the Kane Community Hospital.

Born March 18, 1943 in Kane, she was the daughter of Howard D. and Ellen I. Anderson Hannold. On August 11, 1962 in Kane, she married Thomas E. Brinkley, who survives.

Mrs. Brinkley had worked at Houston Electronics in Kane, then later for the Arcade Restaurant and the Shady Point Restaurant, both in Kane, as a short-order cook, retiring from the latter in 2005.

A member of St. Callistus Catholic Church in Kane, she enjoyed Bingo, slot machines and doing computer puzzles.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Julie L. (Tim) Williamson of Ludlow; two sons, Daniel (Shelley) Brinkley of Kane and Thomas J. Brinkley of Commerce Twp., Mich.; and three grandchildren, Shane and Ariel Brinkley and Olivia Stone. She's also survived by 6 sisters, her twin, Carolyn Ferranto of James City, Doris Paulson and Mary Jane Womer of Lake Placid, Fla., Geraldine Servidio of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., Betsy Joseph of Sharon, Pa. and Bonnie Geer of Kane; plus three brothers, William Hannold of The Villages, Fla., Thomas Hannold of Zephyr Hills, Fla. and Charles "Butch" Hannold of Kane. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by sisters Shirley McKee and Janice Woodward, and brothers Leroy and James Hannold.

Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. in Kane on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00, and may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 on Monday at St. Callistus Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Callistus Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kane Vol. Fire Dept., P.O. Box 66, Kane, PA 16735, or to the Lutheran Home at Kane, 100 High Point Drive, Kane.
