Arlene L. Keister, 82, of  Bon Aire Road, Derrick City, passed away, Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at The Paviliion @BRMC.

Born September 28, 1927, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Delno and Iva (Pelling) Ward.

On September 22, 1944, in Bradford she married Alfred J. Keister who survives.

Mrs. Keister attended Bradford High School. She had been employed at Zippo Mfg and later at Corning Glass until her retirement.

She was a former member of the Greater Bradford Senior Center, the Senior Country Band and a member of AARP.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Twila Burton of Sheffield, three granddaughters; Wendy (Bruce) Doty of Bradford, Jody (Jeff) Jolly of Jamestown, NY, and Tawny (Brian) Milen of Derrick City,  twelve great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Iva Lucille "Sue" Gardner who died February 18, 1984, one brother and one sister.

At the family's request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced. Burial will be in  McKean Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
