| Rep. Martin Causer (R-Turtlepoint) will host the Ninth Annual Senior Citizens Expo on
Friday, Aug. 5, at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Sports and Fitness Building
gymnasium.
The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and lunch will be provided.
This is a great opportunity for senior citizens and their families to learn about
the many programs and services available to them, Causer said. I encourage
people to come check it out.
State, county and local vendors will be on hand to distribute information and answer
questions. Information about health care,
insurance, nutrition and exercise, fire safety, financial planning, fraud protection,
government services, hunting/fishing and personal safety will be available. Health
screenings will also be offered, and door prizes will be awarded.
A second expo will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, at the Roulette Fire Hall in Roulette.
