The McKean County Repository contains property that the county has seized for unpaid taxes. These properties have all gone through 2 tax sales with no buyers. Now they are up for sale only by a written bid. The minimum bid on Real Estate is $250 and for a motor home, just $50.

Most of the property on the list are vacant lots.

After a bid is placed, the school district and local city/municipality as well as the commissioners have to agree to the sale before it can be awarded to the bidder.
