This past Sunday was an unusually warm November second. My wife Pam, my grandson
Maddox and our dog Sadie all took an enjoyable hike on the Marilla Bridges Trail, that
goes around the Marilla Reservoir just west of Bradford PA on rt 346 AKA West Washington
Street.
Some people are confused about the name of the trails at Marilla. They hear
"Marilla Bridges Trail", "Marilla Springs Trail", and "The White
Pine Trail".

WARREN, Pa., (October 27, 2008) - Friends of Rimrock (FOR), a coalition of recreation
and conservation groups devoted to protecting the Rimrock Scenic Overlook for future
generations, has received The American Chestnut Foundation's (TACF) analysis of twig, burr
and seed samples collected at Rimrock. According to TACF, the lab analysis of samples
confirms that the Rimrock trees are 100% American chestnut trees, with no sign of blight.
