One of the headliners in todays paper. The only man mentioned was Mr. Riel and the Senator from Johnstown who is forming the caucus to raise revenue and revitalize 3rd class cities such as Bradford. Was the headline an error, a deliberate error or a Freudian Slip? The white washers that citizen mentions in the local media may be white washed themselves with their fantasies of being senators and press secretaries?? Here is a novel idea, have the city seek 2nd class township status with their 8400 residents. Some townships in Pennsylvania have 60000 residents. It can be done.

This senator from johnstown probably doesn't even know his name was mentioned with a mayor that tried to open an adult club in bradford. You people need new blood up there. I remember the johnstown flood, I was just a young girl back then.

I think this is long overdue, as i have suggested in several posts also. A lot of the "bells and whistles" groups that retain funding from our laughable "Third class city" status, we could easily do without. Instead of trying to rob Foster township, maybe the city should explore tightening its belt, and running on a second class status, run it more like a business, (more like Mr. Connelly runs Foster Township.) I have heard that this is one of the reasons we welcome all the welfare and SSI recipients, to maintain a level of population to maintain this status, as to qualify for certain perks. It would certainly be the fair thing to do for we taxpayers. Bradford city is still pretending its in the halcyon days of Bradfords past. Lets get with the times, and lets get realistic about the unsustainability of our current spending habits, throw the bums out!

Maybe we could get the welfare office back over there while we are at it. I heard one of Bradfords "visionaries" brought it here. Thanks a hell of a lot! I stopped at my neighborhood convienence store this morning, and i thought they were filming an episode of "The Living Dead" I swear there were several certified crack-heads wandering the aisles...
