Exactly stolen. Were they his? NO. Did he steal them? Yes. Did he kill his mother to take them? Probably.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Educate yourself and try again.

Flash and BTR, there may be no reason to argue about how he got the guns. Perhaps the only people who really knew the answer to this are dead.

The son could have beat the safe combination out of his mother, held a knife to her neck, OR she could have left the gun safe unlocked thinking her son was not crazy enough to do what he did. With both of them dead we can only guess how he got the guns.

There are only two facts we know. One, the guns were bought legally and two, they ended up in the wrong hands. This makes a great argument for some on the left. One might draw the conclusion from this that "there is no way to completely secure guns to make sure something like this can't happen again".

The mother- Did owning guns and knowing how to use them keep her safe? No! They cost her her life!

Maybe they weren't purchased legally after all. Maybe he just killed his mother. It took three days for them to decide he used an AR instead of some pistols, I wonder what else they decided in that time.

So the guy who had been driving the car registered to Chris Rodia is in prison for huge quantities of illegal arms sales, Chris Rodia is nowhere to be found, there were at least 2 other people seen in or near the school, one of which was never located, and the car was just left sitting out front with some type of long gun in the trunk? I can't even begin to say what DID happen, but it's pretty clear what DIDN'T.

Ryan, since none of us were there, we have no idea what did or did not take place. Just because somebody ran off into the woods when the police started arriving, don't mean they were in on the shooting. Somebody could have run away fearing being shot by the shooter OR accidentally by the swat team. OR it could have been a run-of-the-mill pervert who was watching children through the windows of the school with his hand down his pants ... who knows?

It could be that rather than this be a big, covered up conspiracy, it could be this kid just wigged out and killed all those children just by himself because he was nuts.

It's easier for me to believe the story as reported than to think all those people could or would conspire to hide what really happened. Like there were more shooters the police are protecting or hiding or that the shots were all fired from hand guns and not an assault rifle.

Who knows what happened and why? Here's a curious speculation. Maybe this kid (the shooter) was anti-gun and didn't like his mom shooting, and/or maybe was upset his friend or associate was converting semi-autos to full auto and wanted to show how bad these guns are. He did kill his mom, and apparently as many innocent children as he possibly could.

It's wise to question authority, but sometimes they report the truth!
