Bradford Mayor Tom Riel tells the Bradford Era that a resident he's not identifying recently received the letter from someone claiming to represent a company called Texas Gas Energy Solutions and Explorations.
Riel and the newspaper say they could find no corporate records or business listings for the company and say something else about the letter was fishy: the company listed a post office box in New Braunfels, Texas, but the letter was postmarked in Bradford.
