Your right, he doesn't have the right qualifications to be a Bradford Mayor.

I still have friends that live in Bradford Township and they told me what a great job this young man did on the Willow Dale Duck Pond. He probably was related to Connie Cavallaro, one of Bradfords better Mayors. Not like what you have now. Yes you should get in politics. Bradford needs people like you.

Steve is a great guy and did a great job on the duck pond.

How well do you know previous mayors? Wasn't there one who went around trying to bite and eat people, way before bath salts came along? LOL!

My fiance was bar-tending at the Option that night. Says you can't blame Mr. Mayor for biting a guy who was dang near twice his size, while the guy was whaling away at him...

You used to see one of those commemorative tee shirts around town every once in a while, but no more. Some Bradfordians probably have them framed and hung up on their walls! It definitely is a collectors' item.

My post was meant as light hearted humor, hence the bath salts reference.

But while we are on the subject, Mr Henry is no stranger to slinging a little mud himself (pun intended).

From this very informative page of the MLR, from Bud Beck:

Thank you Tom Riel. Thank you for being my friend and thank you for boldly going beyond me where no man dares go in this county. You are not "pond scum" like Greg Henry calls you. You are not a "Judas."

Everybody in town jokes about Henry's now infamous biting episode. And even though I may join in on the fun, I agree that he was probably justified in biting.

That is a little over the top.

While I may have differences of opinion with the mayor myself from time to time, I would never use such a disrespectful phrase on him, to his face or behind his back. What could possibly have inspired such a comment as "pond scum"?

Back in grade school, a proper response might be "it takes one to know one".

Doesn't Henry work for the city in some degree?
