citizen, if you go to the page that this photo was taken from and scroll down there is another photo of Obama, in what appears to be the Situation Room, where they are all laughing their asses off and he is saying, "So then I told them that the best way to keep them safe from gun violence was to have men with guns steal their guns from them!"
Its interesting to go back and read the posts on this thread, since i originally posted this the day of Sandy Hook. If I may add a bit of rational logic to this thread.
One, we have had various forms of gun laws or gun control for many, many years in this country. Some states have more than others. No big deal. I don't know one person who ever fled one state for another because of the gun laws.
Of course the nuttiest of nuts will now move out of NY, but truthfully, WHO WANTS THEM?
Let them all move to Texas. The one state in our union that most resembles a mental institute! That should be on their license plates! "Welcome to Texas, Americas insane asylum".
When you step back and look at the big picture, all the gun laws in our country and what Obama recently did, he merely "tweaked" the law a bit, and most rational people in the country believe it was a good job. A step in the right direction.
My guns are safe. I hope my crazy, drugged up neighbor who's armed and nearly insane looses his!
