A Full-time Professional will be hired in 2013 to oversee the City of Bradford's $8.94 million Annual Budget.

Since the city has been served in the past by a City Manager and that didn't work out too well, two questions come to mind...
1. Who will oversee this new position? {CFO reports to ???}
2. Will we need a "New" City Manager position in the future?

Bradford City Taxpayers Do Need/Deserve A CFO.
Mayor Riel said the 2013 Budget includes funding for this CFO.

How do they have money for a position that they don't even have established yet? WTF? Seriously?

Can that money go toward the Elm Street Bridge or much needed street paving?

We need a lower tax millage to attract new citizens and much needed jobs!

Coincidentally, they just released a picture of the new 'CFO' (or is that the old one?) Hmmm, does this guy look slightly familiar...?

I think in this case, CFO may stand for "Chief Finagling Officer."

Wait! I just figured it out! THERE IS NO TOMORROW, ITS DECEMBER 21ST! That explains everything.

Is the City relying on timber revenue again??? I think the housing market is recovering everywhere but Bradford Pa. The only people in Bradford that make any money in real estate is Bradfords own OECD. They don't even have to pay the GROSS BUSINESS TAX on rents they collect. If they did maybe the Veterans would't have to pay to use Veterans Square. I heard that Channel 2 News has been notified about this injustice to our vets. I even read an article about it in the Kane newspaper today.

I think the answer to that is, you borrow millions on the backs of the taxpayers over the next - what was it? 26 years? With no regards to the hundreds of thousands that will have to be paid back in interest on top of the hundreds of thousands we already owe in interest?
