Perhaps the meeting to explain how this was a "done deal" was held in conjunction with the one explaining why the houses exploded.

There are eleven beautiful houses for sale in an "upper crust" neighborhood near me. THESE are the places we need to have occupied! But Bradford no longer has people with the money you need to purchase and live in them.
Maybe their owners should make them Section Eight?

There is a beautiful tan brick house behind the hospital for sale, on a nicely kept street. Too bad the rest of the town cant look like that...
