Looks like a lot of pretty pennies in the budget for city wages. If you are a city taxpayer, dont be shy about expecting top notch service from your civil servants, you are paying them well. Dont forget, you are paying to supply services to the townships as well. For the attitude we get coming from city hall, and the general condition of the city we live in, Bradford city taxpayers sure look like the suckers in this shell game.

And i should add, that DPW does a quite a bit with the limited resources they are given compared to other city departments.

It's nice to know that given the fact that small cities in dire straights all across the nation are asking for money back from their employees (wage concessions), that here in Bradford we can splurge on "raises all around"!

It just bothers a lot of people who are hurting to see some people who we feel makes too much already getting a healthy raise!

Did somebody not get the memo that the country is still in a recession and the last I knew, Bradford wasn't a hotbed of prosperity?
