Here's a cute little article from the front page to today's Bradford Era.
So what do you think might "discourage people from visiting or moving to Bradford" more ..... Some of us on BT poking fun at the "Bridge to Nowhere" bridge on a hiking trail, OR the Bradford Era running a front page story of a gang fight involving 20 people and somebody being tied up and drug by a car? What scares you more? Or how about a front page story about a shooting where a *guy from Buffalo*, for some unknown reason not related to drugs, shoots at a visitor from Pittsburgh?
Who do you suppose runs more negative stories about Bradford? The ERA or BT?
Musicman, would you care to make a bet? Anybody?
Before anybody runs their mouths about posters on BT making posts that are "discouraging people from moving to Bradford", or "discouraging people from coming to Bradford" they should consider what appears in the Bradford Era every single day!
Don't get me wrong, I am not criticizing the ERA for doing their job, if anything I feel they don't do a through enough job covering Bradford's shortcomings, but that is another matter. I'm just saying, people are going to find out all the "negative" aspects of Bradford either from BT or the Era or WESB.
Our collective goal should be to make this a better place for all of us.

Is that the Cadillac in question in the picture? If so, it looks very much like the one that i chased out of my driveway several times last winter, while they waited for a runner from the (alleged) drug house next door to me. I wonder if it has N.Y. plates, i still have the license number somewhere.

THAT, and the front page photo of the guy's back with two ferrets crawling on him, needing help from the ELF fund, give me a warm, cozy hometown feeling! BTW, the guy also has an exotic snake, so if you get his name, maybe buy something for his reptile also! If I lived elsewhere, and someone showed me the front page of the Bradford Era, I would think it was a hoax, or a sleazy Enquirer wannabe paper! Now I know that we have some interesting characters in town, but do they really need to make front page news several times a week? As for the guy being dragged, I'm sure it was just some spirited high-jinx from our local working boys letting off steam.

Stony, i think its 'Crips'. But i am certain it was already established that the 'signs' appearing around town were just wannabe punks trying to be gangmembers? Now that you mention it, where is the in depth story from the local press? I dont remember seeing anything in todays Era. Maybe it will be in Tuesdays edition...

Stony, i think you overlooked a serious rival gang. I seen this 'sign' scrawled on a building right in the middle of downtown Bradford! You dont think its their headquarters? Only a few hundred feet from the police station.
