TSA says yes to snow globes, reserves right to inspect cakes and pies
So Citizen, should "we" as a country allow the terrorists the opportunity to smuggle high explosives in the form of liquids or pies and cakes and take down airplanes with innocent citizens and passengers on them, just so some old lady has the freedom to fly with her baked goods?
It sounds like a no-brainier to me.
Keep potential high explosives off planes and, let grandma bake fresh cakes and pies when she gets to her destination!
It's not a big deal! If you can't live with the rules don't fly!
OK Stony, i will take your bait. In a country where environmentalists and protesters are considered terrorists and disidents, you my friend are most likely on several lists, maybe even (shades of Nazi Germany) 'No-Fly' lists. If you want your satchel fondled by some rent a cop in the name of national security, go for it! The TSA are the biggest joke since the "Patriot Act". All implemented to erase our civil liberties. I guess some of us value them more than others... By the way, read my signature below for a clue, "America wont be destroyed from the outside..." Nor were we attacked "from the outside..."

I will NEVER willingly fly! So your point in moot.
And even if I did fly, I would not feel the need to fly with a pie!
And yes, I have been known to pick up other peoples litter in the woods .... so I am probably identified as an "environmental extremist" or a "possible environmental terrorist".
I've even gone so far as to encourage other people to pick up litter that is not their own in the woods or along hiking trails!
SHHHUUUSSSHHH! Don't report me to the authorities!
What I don't understand is why. I would think that even YOU could figure that out! I imagine everyone else who read my post did.
It can't be because you are afraid, you're not afraid of ANYTHING!
It can't be because it isn't safe. You ride a motorcycle and many, many more people are injured, maimed or killed on motorcycles than airplanes in a year.
And I thought that several years ago you posted aerial photos of well sites in the ANF that you took.
