What was John Sullivans quote the other day at the COG meeting? "We are going to build a great big plant... with a great big bill and it still wont solve the I & I problem" or something to that effect. It looks like from todays Era article that the authority is chomping at the bit to build the huge plant, they are hoping the Biomag process wont work here, and they certainly arent afraid to spend our money. Almost $700,000.00 for misc rehabilitation around the city, and another $9200.00 for a camera upgrade. Sounds like the school administrators. Wait, is that the same Lee Ann Doynow now on the Sewer Authority that used to flush our tax dollars down the toilet while employed with the school system? That explains her qualifications!

Don't forget that Ms. Doynow was also a driving force behind Bradford getting the "Friendship Table"!
Was she one of the original organizers along with Jim Anderson? I believe it is a charity organization ran 100% on donations, am I wrong there? I get the feeling that you view the Friendship Table as a bad thing for Bradford. Where is it located now?
The friendship table is tucked away on East Corydon street between two totally run down, post apocalyptic looking service garages, Matthews service and Sehmens tire. Mike Cahill and Beefeaters restaurant should be raising Hell at City Hall for having to operate their high class establishments adjacent to these sh*tholes. This whole block once was nice, but like so much of Bradford, suffers from years of CE neglect. Only in Bradford is this considered the norm. What was the recent post mentioning the citys priorities?

Are those businesses still in operation? Both businesses were started by Bradford residents. Mathews more than 50 years ago and Sehmens close to that. I have no idea who owns them now, but how many other downtown businesses have that history. I guess they could just close up and add to the number of vacant buildings.

Bad thing? Heck no! We are heading there for dinner tonight! That way, we can save our food money for cigarettes and beer. Keep those stale rolls and old cakes comin! We is starvin!
Foster Township Supervisor, John Sullivan repeated the same statement at the Foster Township work session this past Thursday: "We are going to build a great big plant... with a great big bill and it still won't solve the I & I problem" I am confused if John Sullivan wants to consolidated the sewer then why is the Bradford Sewer Authority moving forward so quickly to update the plant without the representation from the rest of Tuna Valley. Oh, we will represent the new plant with a great big bill and it won't solve the I & I problem.
Doesn't seem to me to be moving so quickly; parties involved have been dragging their feet for years. And now they're going out of town on a sight-seeing tour...
All I have to say is that it BETTER solve the I & I situation!
And I say this in all sincerity. As my friend's wise grandmother used to say, "You can get used to hanging if you hang long enough." It has certainly happened to the majority of Bradford residents, and it even happens to us here at BradfordToday!
