Did you see the under cover piece about a woman pretending to be pregnant with her 4th child, saying she had all girls, and wondered if she could abort if the fetus was female? Her Family planning counsiler said "Yes, that is fine!' If that isn't PRO-abortion, I don't know what is. BTW, I still think it should be legal. But legal and moral are two different things, eh?

Ok, I will note that your stance on this issue is that if I tie a woman up, impregnate her, and then keep her tied up until she bears the child that I should adopt the child.

Personally, I want to force MEN AND WOMEN to be responsible for their own actions. If a man and a woman have sex and neither are using any form of birth control then they should be responsible for their own reckless actions. I pay enough through taking my wife to dinner, buying her gifts, paying bills, paying for the needs of my children etc., for my own sex that I shouldn't have to pay for someone else's sex.

Your conscience is your concern, as are your whims. You live with your own and I will live with mine.

I DO live with my conscience. That's why I object to being forced to pay for the murder of children through my taxes. As for those who think murder of the innocents is acceptable.......THOSE are the ones who need to question THEIR consciences, assuming they HAVE them. I'm all for live and let live. THEY want to live and let others die to accommodate their 'lifestyle'.

Amen to that. Let them pay for their own murder. Why can a woman be charged with murder for throwing her newborn in a dumpster, but a month earlier can legally murder her child with my tax dollars, and society's blessing?

I'm not saying that there is any exageration in the above posts but as an atheist I am personally against my tax dollars being used to help finance the construction of all the fancy ornate churches across the nation.

Other than churches being tax exempt, what tax dollars are being used to construct fancy ornate churches?
Hey! I don't want to pay for my neighbor's colonoscopy, (he should have prevented it by a diet of nuts and berries instead of steak and white bread) but I guess when you live in a SOCIETY, you have to do things for the greater good, whether you agree with each individual thing or not. Like I said before...just because something is legal doesn't make it right.

Why does religion get brought into the abortion debate, and always by those who support abortion? I didn't see where shadow or tigereye brought religion into it. Maybe I missed it, but maybe, just maybe, people can think murder is wrong without it being based on a religious belief.

Homeless people everywhere, soldiers not getting the benefits they were promised for serving our country, budget shortfalls across the nation, deteriorating and collapsing infrastructure, QE3 starting, but people are still worried about having irresponsible unprotected sex and demanding tax dollars get funneled to themselves to pay for it.

Anyone else find it funny that the liberals are babbling about keeping the government out of their bodies (regarding laws on abortions) but then want the government to pay for what goes on in their bodies?
