Here is a story I found on Solomons Words this morning. They credit WESB, but when I followed the link, I did not see the story ....


Two Bfd Men Facing Robbery Charges

Two Bradford men have been charged with robbing a male juvenile on June 25 in Bradford. Court records indicate that 18 year-old Tate Hallock and 18 year-old Joseph Reap are facing several charges, including robbery, assault and harassment after they took $1,000 dollars from a Bradford juvenile at the corner of Walker Avenue and Kennedy Street. Hallock is accused of punching the juvenile in the face causing a bloody nose and swelling near his left eye and threatening the boy with a knife. Reap is jailed on $10,000 bail, while Hallock is free after posting bail.


Well, so much for those of you who think "things aren't that bad in Bradford"!

Here two armed adult men assaulted, battered, and robed a child by knife point ....... Right down the street from the police station! Thank God they stopped short of killing him! They "only" beat him!

Now who was it that said the streets of Bradford are safe?

Safe, except for the armed and violent thieves roaming the streets!

What's a yut (juvenile) doing walking around with $1,000 in
his pocket? It sounds kinda fishy to me. And how did the
two guys know about the money?

Yes, of course the real WTF is the fact the juvenile had $1000 cash on him .... but still the bottom line is he was robbed and beat by armed robbers just down the street from the police station.

It would be nice if we had "investigative reporters" in this town.... we don't. It'd be nice if we had more qualified reporters than we have. We dont!

And it would also be nice if we had reporters who asked the basic questions, like in this case, "What was a teen or child doing with $1,000.00 cash on them"? BUT we got the news reporters we got!

The time of day would have been another question I would have asked .... Had I been writing the story.

Welcome to Bradford .... we get only the news "they" want us to hear!

How long before armed thugs are robbing taxpayers..? Has this already happened? How would we know?

You could always read the surveillance reports on your local IRS office.......

"right down the street from the police station"??? Not really. It's 5 blocks away. That said, my first thought is a juvenille with $1000 is pretty unusual. Could he have been acting for an adult in a transaction? But then I wonder why the robbery was ever reported. More to this story than reported so far.

Sounds a little like a case I know of where a homeowner shot an intruder. Problem was the intruder was an angry customer of his who was unhappy about a drug deal gone bad. Police found lots of drug in the shooter's house. Both men are now going to jail.

Um ... five blocks away in WHAT directon?

The Associated Press WILKINSBURG, Pa. —

Homicide detectives are looking for someone who fatally shot a Pittsburgh-area man, apparently because the person was upset when the victim urinated off a porch where he had been playing dominoes.

The Allegheny County medical examiner's office has identified the victim as 35-year-old Roosevelt Robinson, of Wilkinsburg.County homicide detectives say Robinson was playing dominoes with friends on a covered, second-story portico when he took a break to relieve himself.

Witnesses say they heard someone yelling "Yo! Yo!" - apparently because they were upset with what Robinson was doing - before shots rang out from between two houses.

Police have not named a suspect and are asking the public for help.Police say the area from which the shots were fired is often used as a path from the street to an area behind the homes in question.


We all know what *kind of person* is responsible for this murder! The witnesses herd the guy say "yo, yo"!

Who says "Yo, yo"?

Obviously the guy was pissed (pun intended) that the "porch dwellers" were playing dominoes instead of playing with Yo yos!

The killer was a Yo yo fan and didn't like domino players!


Here's another example for you gun nuts who think easy gun access for everybody who wants one is a good idea.

Murdering somebody for peeing off a porch! This is what our society is reduced to!

I wouldn't laugh, Wilkinsburg is much like Bradford.

Not yet it isn't...

But it may be coming to our neighborhoods soon!

Make that *your* neighborhood! I watch mine pretty good. We don't tolerate porch pissers or armed thugs roaming the streets in my neighborhood. We DO have a neighborhood watch on my street!
