Does this mean someone was shot? This was in todays police report and it happened on main street over the weekend. Anyone know any more?

Not necessarily, you can use a rifle to swing at someone like a bat, use the butt as a battering ram, and on a pistol you can pistol whip someone. Pointing it at someone without cause or pressing them against it could be considered assault as well I guess.

I have a question. I read about a "gun incident" in Saturdays Era. Two guys wrestling with a handgun and falling through a glass door.

Is that the same incident that was written about again today or is this the second gun incident in three days?

I think if somebody was shot we would have heard by now. Then again maybe it was covered up? Lol

Maybe, or maybe not. An awful lot of stuff gets covered up in this town.

I remember back when our current mayor was in favor of uncovering issues and shining light on things that concern the public.

I'll ask my original question again in case anybody (including newt) can answer it ........ Was the gun altercation reported in Saturdays paper the same one or a different one that was reported in Mondays paper? Did we have two gun incidents or one this past weekend?

And didn't I (accurately) predict this some time ago?

From a quick look at the “Pennsylvania’s Unified Judicial System, web portal> Magisterial District Courts Docket Sheets page: http://ujsportal.pacourts.us/DocketSheets/MDJ.aspx, I would guess only one (at least that made it to a judge).

On this page, you may have to do a bit of searching, but if it went to a judge, it will be there somewhere.
In this instance, I searched for by “Date Filed” then “McKean County”, then individually through each of the magistrates.

I believe you will find that only “Docket Number: MJ-48101-CR-0000150-2012” seems to fit the bill.

Hope this helps answer your questions.
