Bernie can it be SNAP is a function of the food stamp card and people are buying ciggs with their access card (welfare cash)?

I can answer that one Bernie, I called to ask. If you have an EBT card it is like a debit card that is linked to 2 different accounts (savings and checking). You have the food stamps (EBT) which cannot be used to purchase anything other than food products and are not supposed to be used for hot food, and then the side that has the cash loaded onto it. You can use an ATM to pull the money out (which is then untraceable what you do with it) or you can use it like a debit card at stores, tattoo shops, strip clubs, cigarette shops, etc.

Yes, where specifically is the hot food restriction on food stamps being violated? Or are you confusing that with cash benefits? It's not illegal for them to use cash for hot food, and I think that is what people are complaining about.
