You do understand that putting your money in a foreign bank in no way hides it from the IRS? Taxes are taken out when the investment income is disbursed or when taxes are due. Reports are automatically generated and forwarded to the IRS at the time of disbursement. Another lie being pushed by ChipperB and democrats.

So what your saying is that if Romney makes money in a foreign account than he has to tell the IRS about it so he can pay taxes on it even though the money is in a foreign account??? Is that how business men do it Flash?

You don't make money in a foreign account. It might accrue a little interest, but it doesn't "make money".

I think what he's referring to is the fact that he can store all of the money that he wants to there. "free country" ring a bell? If he earned the money that he is depositing into those accounts then he has to pay taxes on that.

Why not the Swiss? Why is it wrong to let them hold our money? Is it because our banks are doing such a splendid job? Is it because they are as secure or globally accepted as a Swiss account? Hundreds of thousands of business people across the globe utilize Swiss banks.

What is the purpose of hiding money in foreign banks? Maybe if Romney could tell us???? What's wrong with old-fashion U.S.of A. Banking? Maybe if he showed us his tax returns from other years we could find out?!?

The purpose of "depositing" it into a foreign bank is for security, international transfer ability, and a general distrust in our failing banks.
