Stony, if you were a bird, you'd be an owl, because you are such a HOOT!

As far as the pirate ship timbers arrr and the planks arrr and the baggy pants, raggy looking actors in the vicinity of our elm street bridge -some with baby carriages I might add- , shouldn't we have a Troll too?

this really isnt funny. its yet another big waste of money. some scummer kids already rolled some of the rocks around and im sure it wont be long before somebody paints on the logs or carves something into them. who dreamed up this night mare? somebody should lose their job over this. this is as dumb as the curbs that went into the traffic lanes. how could they even consider putting up something that blocks the view of oncoming traffic? did the local body shops or the hospital push for this? who else would build something that will surely cause more accidents? is there nobody in the city with common sense?

I see kids have rolled some of the large landscaping stones from the "totem pole" area. I wonder if this will become a new sport among the lost youth of Bradford?

Don't know if anyone has noticed or even cares, but yesterday the city crews changed the weight limit of the Elm St bridge from 5 tons to just "3 tons". Of course this doesn't mean a thing to help protect the condition of this bridge if law enforcement doesn't do their job.(Oh wait, they don't have time for traffic enforcement) But, if this new weight limit is really enforced, then this will really limit a lot of local traffic to this area. It doesn't take much vehicle to total 3 tons.
If something isn't done to protect the bridge, then the new signs at the off ramp on Elm St will just have to point "one way" because there will nothing but Tuna creek to the right. It might have to be close just like the Kennedy St bridge was until repairs were done.
On the subject of Elm St, wasn't something mentioned about the lack of turning lanes painted on Davis St at the intersection of Elm St. I think the Mayor thought there was lines painted there, but that was a long time ago. It seems to be getting more dangerous at that intersection with some drivers making there own turning lane and others that don't see any lanes and drive right down the middle. Davis St itself isn't 4 lanes, but some drivers think it is. Who is responsible for the painting the lines and when will it be done?? Anybody know?

"Lost youth" or "scummer kids"?

And didn't "WE", here on BT correctly predict when we seen them building that fiasco that it would be defaced and even used as a liability to the city way on back? We knew it would be ruined and used to cause traffic problems. This is what scummers do. It's their life. It's their reason to exist. To deface or ruin anything and everything that is nice or attempts to make the quality of life better in Bradford.

The Pitt Campus is only spared because the scummers don't have the energy to walk that far!

Heavy trucks will be crossing that bridge all day long! And our city and our courts can really use the extra cash the fines could provide! Let's see how many tickets are written.

This town is getting more and more like the wild west each and every day! Get a permit and carry a gun!

No.

I only read BradfordToday for entertainment but I occasionally post unnecessary off-topic comments which more often than not results in the death of the thread - so - here is today's comment.

"is there nobody?" was the question.

"no" was the answer.

This means that somebody does have common sense in the city.

A "yes" answer would mean that nobody does.

So Stony appears to be defending those in the city.

Is that the case, Stony?
