Article Title: Isn't Bradford really getting better?
Category: FORUM: ASK BT

Article:
Isn't it true that Bradford is getting better? We have more businesses on Main Street and there are less blue tarps on roofs. And less shopping carts and graffiti all over town. All under this mayors watch! And the drug use is much worse in other surrounding towns.

You can't apply other "cities" here. A real city has 300-500,000 more people in it. No Bradford is not getting any better.

If you consider the fact that the BPD is stretched to the limit with responding to 1. More Domestic Violence calls, 2. Sexual Abuse calls, 3. Harassment calls, 4. Drug-related calls, and 5. Theft/Burglary calls...Then the Answer is NO!!!!!
And on a Related Note: {from the WESB 1490 NewsBlog} [url]http://1490newsblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/man-allegedly-punched-police-officer.html/url]
Man Allegedly Punched Police Officer
A Bradford man is accused of assaulting a police officer who found him hiding in a church following an alleged robbery.

Police got a called about a robbery and were flagged down on Festival Way by a person who said a man dressed in black and wearing sunglasses robbed him and then ran into St. Bernard Church.

When police went into the church they found 45-year-old Michael Campbell sitting in a pew. When they started to arrest him, he allegedly punched a police officer in the face.

Campbell is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He’s in jail on $25,000 bail.
