To Miami Fla. in your bad boy Kenworth, Your worldly! You must know what we could have done with the 1.28 trillion dollars that Bush wizzed away on 2 wars during his presidency and beyond. This one is too easy. Your question is invalid. No president can spend money other than discretionary budget money. All budgeting and spending is done by congress. Therefore, bush didn't spend any money on the wars in Iraq, which were approved over and over and over again by democrats and republicans alike. I know, I know, he lied about the reason for the war. Well...that has been proven to be incorrect also. For some interesting reading on wmds in Iraq, saddam's connection to AQ-I, and what the democrats demanded be done, head to the clinton library. Even if he did lie, the democrats could have said no, but they didn't. That includes reid, pelosi, clinton and obama.

I would also like to point out that just because I don't like obama's policies does not mean that I like bush's.

Just because you keep losing these little debates keep on keeping on. Your willful ignorance to fact is entertaining.

I don't care what you say, all that "yellow cake" false intelligence was done under the Bush White House. The war was originally supported for on the Afghanistan front, not Iraq .The ball was in Bush's court and we're all a little poorer for it. Just lucky Obama finally got Bin Laden so we finally have a chance to see an end to this. It's only a shame that it took so long to finally get back on track with the present administration to get the job done right.

Your warped reality sees only what supports your version without regard to facts accepted by all. Have fun little chipper.

Would you point out the post in this thread that says that?

Chipper, I've never said any such thing in this post or any other.

The initial vote in Congress was to go to war in IRAQ, not Afghanistan. You too have access to all congressional actions so why don't you use them before posting lies? This was not only true for our congress but for our allies.

Actually it was started during the first bush's tenure, continued and ramped up during clinton's time. Not a lot of rocket science in reading what Saddam was doing to the Kurds. Ever hear of Halabja? Probably not because facts seem to mean nothing to you. The first that it came out that Saddam was not only supporting AQ but offering them safe havens was during clinton's presidency, something that he has openly discussed. Check online at the clinton library for more information.

Congress at any time could have said no. Again, presidents cannot spend money above and beyond their discretionary budget. It is not possible. Only congress can. Did you not pay attention in school or do they not teach such things anymore?

Yep, obama spent years digging through leads, risking his life, losing his life, then jumped out of a helicopter to capture bin laden only to end up killing him instead. You're blind devotion to one man is very man crush like. You transfer the actions and successes of our militart and intelligence personnel to him while deflecting all blame from him.

Your ignorance is glaring. And let it be known that it is a willful ignorance. Anyone with any brain power can do the research and form calm coherent thoughts, you on the other hand decided to not think, to not learn, to not better yourself and your country. You have chosen your ignorance and you wear it well.

Now I'm going to say this one more time. When the twin towers were leveled we had support to go after suspected Bin Laden who was heading or suspected of heading the operation that carried out the Twin Towers incident. We had multinational cooperation from a good number of countries to launch a front in Afghanistan because Bin Laden and his operation were suspected of hiding in the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan. We entered 'serious'operations there basically till the Tora Bora incident. We we're sidetracked into Iraq through intelligence ramping up the WMD search which proved a waste of time. Now we were after Bin Laden and his cohorts originally and 10 yrs later in the Obama presidency the decision was made to go after him. The ultimate decision was give the go ahead by President Obama. Ok !I don't know anything about congressional files or anything else but I do know the news. whatever else you have to say is complete nonsense.

I'd build a rocket and blast off from this place and go live on Earth 2. The Terrians are probably much easier to live with than most of the people around here.

Neo, I can take constructive criticism. You're right my sentence structure isn't the greatest. I try to spell words correctly. You didn't piss me off no prob. As for another individual who cannot take part in a debate without name calling, insults and ridicule I don't believe that I am going to stoop to this individual's level any longer. As far as I'm concerned the debate is over. As for BT regular I am going to end responding to your barbs and insults or any remarks that you have towards my subject matter. At first I tried to stoop to your level firing back insults after the first time you commented on my opinion of President Obama. From the first time you called me ignorant I should have known what type of person you are. I enjoy debating politics, I have great interest in it. What I don't enjoy is your type of debating where the only way that you know to get your opinion across is to insult and ridicule people who do not agree with you. You must get sadistic pleasure in doing it, I haven't a clue. What I do have a clue of is I don't want to waste my time any longer responding back to you. You really don't seem fit in my book as any type of person I would want to know or give the time of day. In real life I assure you I have no time of day for people like you. I suppose you don't even know you have a problem. I have tried to be as civil about this as I possibly can not resorting to name calling or lowering myself to your type in this final response that I will ever give you again. With that adieu, I hope the best for you.
