Here is another big buck that somebody shot somewhere between Westline Pa, and Limestone Ny.
It's a nice buck for sure .... but there are rumors going around about the location it was shot, and the manor in which it was shot.
This would have been a very nice deer, minus the rumors.
Let's hope this was an honest, clean kill! It would be a shame to waste a nice trophy like this!
I scrambled the proud hunters face .... Let's just call him "John Doe" for now! (pun intended!)

Update on the "Big Buck" story: As it turns out, the rumors pertaining to this big buck are just that, RUMORS!
The buck was shot in Allegheny NY, not Westline as the *rumor mill* had reported!
This seems to be a case of a guy getting a really great buck, and then somebody anonymously calling the game commission on him to check it out. And it did check out!
Any stories about this buck being photographed in Westline on a game cam, or "two cams" are untrue.
It simply was the case of a really good hunter getting a really great deer!
It's unfortunate that *some hunters* can't be happy for a fellow hunter that got a great deer. Jealousy has no place among true sportsman.
This hunter should be congratulated for getting such a nice trophy buck!
As a hunter myself (with a camera mostly, but sometimes with a gun), I can appreciate the skill, and patience (and the luck), required to bag a trophy buck.
And I really respect other hunters that shoot bigger, older bucks over smaller does any day.
