What the Hell is going on here? Indian law trumps American companies and American workers rights? This "Lacey act" sounds very unconstitutional, but I guess the constitution is just another piece of paper these days?

You must have missed it. The Lacey law specifies that anybody who buys wood must abide by every other countries laws. The Lacey act requires the export of wood complies with each country of origin's laws. It's not a matter of them enforcing another countries law, it's a matter of Gibson not complying with the Lacey act, or so they insist.

Don't you remember the Bush/Cheney regime reduced the constitution to being worth less than used toilet paper? Happened years ago!

A 111 year old law is now being applied, selectively? The justice department dug this up for a reason and it wasn't to stop the import of wood POSSIBLY acquired illegally in another country.

Example: Hibab goes out and cuts down a tree. He sells that wood to a broker who adds it to another lot of wood. This wood is then sold to a mill that rough cuts the wood. It is then sold to another broker who then in turn sells it to a supplier of wood for export to other countries. The wood is bought by an end user, with all assurances made that it is legal on the seller's end, and has it transported to their country.

How the hell do you blame the last buyer?

I don't think he could play air guitar. He just has that look like he has no rhythm at all.
