What do you expect from the powers that be? I pick up a Bradford Era and see a picture of a child running through a sprinkler on campus drive or somebody enjoying an ice cream cone by the duck pond out West Washington St. No pics of those tattoo parlors or used video equipment stores. As far as the Era's concerned buses are still rolling out of the depot on Mechanic Street and we still have 3 opera houses!

I would love to see the Era cover some of the "hot button" issues around town, not sure why they dont. Is it the "if we dont aknowledge it, it doesnt exist" mentality? Covering something after it comes up at a council meeting is not investigative reporting. Im sure their sales numbers corroborate this on the rare occasion that they do cover controversial issues. Could this "Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil" policy be related to a high ranking city officials connection at the Era?
