Connelly
1. He has an axe to grind
2. He doesn't play well with others in authority
3. Citizens of Foster are not being fairly represented
Connelly needs to get over himself and work for the best interest of those who put him where he is or there won't be a repeat performance come election time.
I've talked to several Bradford residents lately that would make all of the above statements about our mayor! They would substitute "Connelly" with "Riel" in the above statements.
Coincidentally, when Tom Riel first ran for mayor, it was Connelly who used to come by to make sure I was going to vote for Riel! ................... "Birds of a feather" I guess!
Two champions of "what's best for the voters/taxpayers/citizens"! Amen!
I hope that both men agree that the best thing for our democracy and local representation is openness and the inclusion of the public in all decisions that effect the tax-paying citizens!
We can't have too much transparency!
Unfortunately we have way too many "back room deals" in both Bradford and Foster Township!
That is why I'm sure both Connelly and Riel are glad we have a "public forum" like this, Bradford Today to explore the issues in depth! More depth than the local media provides!
