Ovation, don't all this DNA stuff and "man being 40,000 years old" fly in the face of the "God created man" stuff?

I thought God reached his hand down from heaven and made all men.

He put the Swedes and Nordics in the cold areas, the blacks down where they are from, and the Asians in Asia .... and so forth .... Oh, and the Mexicans Right here where they belong!

Oh, that is another good point. If God put all the ethnic cultures where he wanted them, wouldn't it be sacrilegious to second guess God and move about the earth? He didn't even want Adam and Eve (not Steve) to leave the garden of eden, surely he would disapprove of intercontinental airline flights! LOL!

Maybe he made us all look different and act different so we would realize we should live separate.

Doesn't the bible describe man as being only 4000 years old at the most?

How can we have this 30,000 to 40,000 year old man stuff?

This from the man who can easily be quoted as saying, "the Bible is a collection of stories as best?" (Paraphrased, of course!!)

You are debating religious views versus scientific views with the wrong person.

Yes, you're correct! (In that I WAS looking for a reaction from YOU!) But you are wrong if you think I am going to defend the Bible's version of the history of man.

In my opinion, and it's JUST my opinion, to which I am duly entitled, there are more scientific facts to prove that back (even before MY time! LOL!!!) humans came from Asia to an uninhabited North America. The "Great Spirit" is a great idea, but not the cause.

No, I clearly believe in evolution and DNA science.

But I thought you believed in the bibles explanation of events, and man was at the oldest only 4,000 years old.

It's quite plausible that man walked over from Asia that long ago, since there was several "ice ages" over the years and perhaps most of the Pacific ocean and even maybe the Atlantic was frozen over.

But I don't get your point. Even IF man came from Asia some 40,000 years ago and settled here, they were certainly the "native residents" when Columbus drug boat loads of what some call "euro trash" over here!

Columbus hardly "discovered" a barren, unclaimed land like some people believe.
