Better?
Yes, it's not directed at any specific user who might respond harshly. The response to your post was in blatant violation of the rules and needed removed, but to be fair, I removed both comments since yours was directed at him first.

I would like to think that none of you on Bradford Today are stupid, so tell me how can the US cover 30 million more people legally or not and not have the cost go up. So many idiots so little time.

So what your saying is that the more people who are covered, the higher the cost it is for me to buy insurance?

It is my personal opinion that nobody needs health insurance but everybody at one time or another will need and receive health care. Having *for profit* health insurance companies competing with each other for different profit margins seems to me to cause people to lose sight of the goal, good care. It should cost no more for the child of a rich person to have an emergency appendectomy than for the child of a poor person and neither should be denied the care.

Obamacare isn't going to pay for you to go to Europe to receive care. Unless you believe that the USA has the best doctors, you need to be rich like Peyton Manning to travel to get treatment.

Resident Taxpayer, I said, "It is my personal opinion that nobody needs health insurance but everybody at one time or another will need and receive health care. What is so liberal about that, do you think that a rich person should have to pay more than a medium income or a poor person to have their child's life saved by a doctor or that any child should be denied the care necessary to save their life. What part of my post causes you so much grief, who would you deny necessary care to and why?

Uh, and can YOU pay for an emergency appendectomy out of YOUR pocket? If so, you are minority. I certainly couldn't, even when I was working I couldn't have paid for an any kind of hospital stay, like the time I was admitted for five days with celluitis. It's insane to think people can stash away the thousands and thousands of dollars needed to pay a hospital bill when most people are barely making their mortgage, if they house hasn't already been foreclosed on.
It's the people without insurance that cause costs to go up for those of us who do have insurance.
And, btw, my Keystone 65 went down by half this year. It technically meant I was switching to the Keystone 65 HMO, but the only difference is the number of providers accepted. I'm not having any problems with that.
